9 Hi I'm Kellie Chapman and I'm originally from Greensboro, NC. I went to the UNC Chapel Hill (Go Heels!) and graduated with a Bachelor's of Education degree in Middle School Teaching with concentrations in both Social Studies and Language Arts. I also have my National Boards Certification in Social Studies. This is my 25th year of teaching, with this being my 20th at AG!
I am married to my husband Richard and we have three sons- Matthew (21) who is attending Appalachian State University, Michael (19) who is a sophomore at Western Carolina University and Mitchel (10) who attends McClintoch Middle School. In my free time I enjoy going to my children's events and participating in a lot of church activities.
I enjoy reading novels, especially young adult fiction and historical books
and TV shows that pertain to history and/or detective series.
